EXAM AND EVALUATION
  1. Students scoring 33% and above in all subjects will qualify for promotion to the next higher class.

  2. On the basis of the consolidated results of the year, if any student scores less than 33% marks, the result will be withheld.

  3. Is it mandatory for the students to appear for the annual examination to get promotion to the next class.

  4. Promotion to the next class and eligibility for the award of the scholar trophy to absentees with valid reasons will be based on the student's performance over the year and on the discretion of the principal.

  5. Result of students joining in mid-session and on medical grounds for one semester of both the semesters will be discussed and decided by the principal.

STANDARD I - X

There will be four Formative Assessments, Two Summative Assessments for 80 marks each. Other areas such as nearness., maintenance of books, regularity in doing Home Works, Projects, Discipline, Class room performance etc., are given due representation in the Calculation of Final Assessment. It is important that the student secure minimum 'D' grade in all the subjects. Students will be promoted on the basis of both Formative and Summative Assessments both of which are mandatory.

STANDARD XI & XII

Cyclic Tests carrying 25 marks each, Half yearly and Annual Examination each carrying 100 marks will be conducted as formal examination. In addition to these exams, Class tests will be taken after completion of each chapter in all subjects.

Practicals, Assignments and Projects also carry due weightage as per the CBSE Directives. In Std XI it is important that the students pass in all the papers SEPARATELY IN THEORY AS WELL AS PRACTICALS. The passing marks is 33 in each subject and a pass in all subjects at the Annual Exam is mandatory for promotion.

In Std. XII all exams will be according to the Board Pattern. At the end of the session two rounds of compulsory Pre-Board Exams will be conducted.
